Madeline

Great to meet you!

I am a Clinical Social Worker licensed in New York, Ohio, Virginia, and DC with over 16 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. My clinical practice focuses on healthy relationships whether that be within ourselves, with our friends and families, or within our romantic partnerships. I enjoy supporting others finding their way through challenging moments and have an open-minded approach to life. I believe that there infinite ways to show up and be authentic in our lives and I want to help others find theirs.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach combines cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and narrative therapies. Typically this will manifest as a warm and conversational style to therapy. I want my clients to feel as though we are working together to explore themes in a safe and supported way.

I am also a Level 1 Brainspotting clinician. If you are interested in a more somatic approach to therapy, let’s talk about how Brainspotting can support you with emotional release.

What you can expect from me

We will discuss what brings you to therapy and why now in our first session. Additionally, I believe in creating a strong client-therapist relationship centered around respect and compassion and therefore will take time to answer any questions you may have about the therapy process.

I don't believe in using stigmatizing labels. I will tailor our time together and work with you to create a treatment plan to meet your specific needs. It takes courage to heal and move forward in your life. I'm here to support you!
